You will follow a private Twitter (@OptionsCharting) and become part of a private Discord community that are constructed to help you along your trading journey—no matter what chapter you're on.
Our creed, or process, for navigating the equity and crypto markets is built on three pillars: technical analysis, trading fundamentals, and mindset.
Our mission is to help you strengthen your process by sharing setups, information, experiences, ideas, education, strategies, and a sense of community.
With an educational and career background in statistics and data analytics, combined with years of trading experience grounded in technical analysis, and an insatiable obsession with growing everyday—we are confident that the content and processes shared through our service will be an invaluable addition to your trading toolkit.
We are NOT here to trade for you. If you are not willing to put in the time to learn to become your own self-sufficient and profitable trader, you likely won't find our community useful.
For the most part, we follow a classic technical analysis style, but are never close-minded to learning and implementing other forms of TA that can help our overall goal: growth.
We display expertise in price action, supply and demand zones, trend recognition, moving averages, pattern recognition, resistance and support levels (horizontal, diagonal, psychological), fibonacci retracements and extensions, pivot levels, candle patterns, volume and volume profile patterns, multiple timeframe analysis, retests, and many other inside/outside chart indicators.
We specialize specifically in the art of identifying active sequences, which is a process that implements the use of two key moving averages to locate and identify the commencing of trends. #ActSeq
We are able to share educational information and ideas on trading equity, options, and crypto based on our experiences in all three markets. From scalping, to day trading, to swing trading, to position trading. Though our main focus is on the latter two, the foundational trading fundamentals overlap for all types.
Trading fundamentals such as: planning, abiding to market conditions, timing, timeframe, position sizing, entries/exits, scaling, triggers, confirmation, monitoring, stop losses, trailing stops, risk/reward, and probabilities.
We may consider ourselves to be technicians, or technical traders, but we do not base every trade we take on technicals. There are many other rationales used to take a trade, such as: economic and market data, fundamental analysis, company catalysts, earnings reaction, insider and institutional trading, short interest, unusual options activity, unusual volume, sector sympathy, SPAC mergers, and more.
"There is no single market secret to discover, no single correct way to trade the markets. Those seeking the one true answer to the markets haven’t even gotten as far as asking the right question, let alone getting the right answer."
The "right" question Jack Schwager is referring regards the process. The process of discovering what is the best way for you to trade the markets. That realization can only come from within, and can take many years of dedication, intentional focus, and humility to unlock—ultimately becoming a consistently profitable trader.
Through planning, discussion, shared lessons and practices, motivation, encouragement, and community camaraderie we will strive to help you find your trading edge. To us, that edge begins and ends with your mindset—an area of trading that will forever need watering and nourishment.
We will grow together.
